I am Isabel and 6 years ago I was bitten by the sewing bug. Never thought by the way, because everyone who knows me knows that I have 2 left hands 😉. Many YouTube videos and sewing lessons later, I enjoy making my kids’ wardrobe (and to a large extent mine too) myself. Great to be able to determine your own style!

Bel’Etoile started as a blog to share my creations with the sewing world and along the way I also developed a passion for designing sewing patterns. I hope in this way to inspire and motivate others to create their own wardrobe (and that of their kids) themselves. Nothing more fun than seeing a design come to life through the eyes (and sewing machine) of someone else!
